SAFECO Insurance Company announced they are now writing Neighborhood Electric Vehicles and Low Speed Vehicles. If your electric vehicle is used primarily for golfing and driving within your neighborhood, it can be insured under the SAFECO motorcycle insurance program. But if your electric vehicle is used on public roadways, then it can be insured under the SAFECO auto insurance program.
