Hartford Auto Insurance has released the once exclusive AARP auto insurance program to select independent insurance agents in Florida. The AARP auto insurance program is called the "Open Road Advantage" program when purchased from an independent insurance agent.
One of the unique features of the Open Road Advantage program is the "No Drop Promise." Under the No Drop Promise, Hartford Auto Insurance will not "non-renew" or cancel your policy due to the number of traffic convictions or accidents you or any operator may have during the policy period. There are a couple of exceptions:
- If any operator is convicted of operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or
- If you fail to provide Hartford Auto Insurance with a "physician's certification of fitness to drive", if they request it, then the "No Drop Promise" does not apply.
